The first part of the course serves as foundational training, which equips you to begin practicing Scrum. You'll cover the following topics:

Scrum Workshop

Then we move on to exercises designed to offer a practical understanding and refinement of the product backlog and user stories. You'll get a a solid foundation for successful Scrum utilisation.

You'll be given a product vision and high-level product backlog meant to drive the development of a real-life scaled Scrum organisation. You'll then each take on the roles of business owner, product owner, Master and team members in a mock release planning session and subsequent sprint planning meetings. We'll address epic breakdown, vertical slices of functionality, acceptance criteria for both business and technical requirements, and assigning business value and effort estimates.
