Overview
On Firebrand’s accelerated training course for Juniper’s JNCIS-SEC (JSEC & JUTM) certification, you’ll study key security technologies like security zones, security policies, intrusion detection and prevention (IDP) as well as basic implementation, configuration and management.
You’ll learn how to configure, operate and implement SRX Series Service Gateways in a typical network environment in just 3 days.
Firebrand’s course delivers the equivalent knowledge of the Junos Security (JSEC) and Junos Unified Threat Management (JUTM) courses. You’ll be prepared for and take the JN0-332 exam during the course, which is covered by your Certification Guarantee.
On Firebrand’s course, you’ll study:
- Security
- Traditional routing and security and overview of the SRX series
- Zones concepts and configurations
- Security policy concepts, like firewall authentication and network attack prevention
- Screen concepts and configurations
- High availability
- Unified threat management
- Unified Threat Management (UTM)
- Web/content filtering and Antispam
- Unified Threat Management features of Junos OS
Learn through demonstrations and labs as you gain experience in configuring and monitoring. You’ll get hands-on with Juniper Networks SRX Services Gateways and use the Junos OS during the labs – preparing you to manage Junos OS across multiple hardware platforms.
If you’re involved in network security engineering and security administration or responsible for UTM features on Juniper hardware, attaining the Juniper Networks Certified Specialist Security certification (JSEC) is ideal for you.
Plus, Firebrand’s course is designed to be your starting point to earning Juniper’s more advanced security certifications like the JNCIP-SEC and JNCIE-SEC.
