FAQs
Should I take CCSP or AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate?
CCSP focuses on Cloud Security principles, including Risk Management, legal issues, compliance, and architecture. Achieving this certification requires a minimum of five years of IT experience, with three years in information security, and one year in one or more of the six CCSP domains. CCSP is ideal for IT professionals looking to specialize in Cloud Security.
In contrast, Amazon AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate focuses on designing distributed systems on the AWS platform, covering AWS services, architecture best practices, and cost management. It’s suitable for those looking to work specifically with AWS and in roles such as Solutions Architect, Cloud Engineer, or DevOps Engineer. There are no formal prerequisites to take this course except for familiarity with AWS and some hands-on experience.
Ultimately, the choice depends on your experience and career goals.
