Nokia 3210

Guess who's back? Nokia 3210

Remember not having a smartphone?

Remember not scrolling mindlessly for hours?

Before Blackberry and iPhone changed the market forever, Nokia phones ruled the roost with their great battery life, addictive Snake game, and indestructible hardware that's become the stuff of legends (or memes.)

Nokia 3310 will probably ring a bell, but, before there was Nokia 3310, there was 3210, the 1999 phenomenon that brought Nokia to the mainstream.

To mark the 25th anniversary, Finnish Nokia phone makers HMD are launching a reboot of the classic 3210 with a colour display, Bluetooth 5.0, and a tiny 2MP camera.

According to ReadWrite, HMD seek to rebrand this phone as "a fun phone, not a dumb phone:" "The 3210 will be ideal if you want to switch off, but still have the option to be in contact with others," encouraging consumers to "balance their screen time usage with a digital detox.”

The phone features a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a USB-C charger (just for ease), and storage that can be expanded to a generous 32GB. (It has an MP3 player too.)

In the UK, it's available to order now for £74.99.

What do you think? Will you be detoxing with 3210?
