The CompTIA A+ certification is widely regarded as an essential starting point for a career in IT; over one million IT professionals around the world have achieved it. But, are you prepared?
Developed by CompTIA, the A+ is supported by major corporations. Dell, HP and Lenovo all require their service technicians to be A+ certified; the certification is even supported by Government branches like the US Department of Defence.
To achieve this cornerstone certification, you need to pass two challenging exams: CompTIA A+ 220-901 and 220-902. Even if you're an experienced professional, it’s still worth undertaking CompTIA A+ revision before you sit your exam. If you’re new to IT, studying is essential.

Another great online study guide, this time from RM Roberts. These in-depth study guides cover domains 1-5 of the 220-801 exam and domains 1-4 of the 220-802 exam. These guides display as PDF’s for ease-of-use and can be downloaded simply for use offline and on mobile. Access them.
9. TechExams CompTIA A+ forums
Nothing beats asking another person for help. If you get stuck on a specific A+ topic, just pose your question in one of the active IT forums.
