Overview
On Firebrand’s accelerated training for Juniper’s JNCIS-ENT (JIR & JEX) certification, you’ll get an overview of intermediate routing and configuration, including protocol-independent routing, load balancing and high availability features.
In just 3 days, you’ll study Layer 2 switching and VLANs, protocol-independent routing, Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) and border gateway patrol.
Firebrand’s course combines the knowledge equivalent to Juniper’s Junos Intermediate Routing (JIR) and Junos Enterprise Switching (JEX) training courses. You’ll also take your JN0-346 exam during the course, which is covered by your Certification Guarantee.
On Firebrand’s course, you’ll also study:
- Spanning tree
- Layer 2 security
- Intermediate system to intermediate system (IS-IS)
- Tunnels
- High Availability
Get hands-on with Juniper Networks SRX Services Gateways and use the Junos OS during the labs – preparing you to manage Junos OS across multiple hardware platforms. You’ll also learn through demonstrations as you gain experience in configuring and monitoring.
You’ll study Junos Enhanced Layer 2 Software (ELS) and take the related JN0-346 exam to achieve your certification. On the JN0-346 exam, all modules relating to enterprise switching are based on the ELS.
If you’re responsible for configuring and monitoring devices running the Junos OS, attaining the Juniper Networks Certified Specialist Security (JSEC) certification is ideal for you.
Firebrand’s course is also built to be your starting point to earning Juniper Network’s advanced security certifications, like the JNCIP-ENT and JNCIE-ENT.
