At Firebrand, we're partnering with Kingfisher plc for a Skills Bootcamp in Cyber Technician.

Kingfisher is an international home improvement company that operates under familiar retail banners such as B&Q and Screwfix.

Kingfisher’s Technical and Digital teams have a strong focus on e-commerce, Data Analytics, and emerging technologies. They are looking for individuals with an appetite for Information Security to apply for their Junior Analyst Apprenticeship based in Southampton. To help you prepare, we're offering a fully funded Skills Bootcamp in Cyber Technician.

If you'd like to start a career in Information and Cyber Security while working to revolutionise the way customers engage with home improvement products and services, this opportunity is perfect for you.

To apply, interested candidates should hold 5 GCSEs A-C (or 4-9), including English and Maths.

Why should I apply?

By completing a Skills Bootcamp with Firebrand, you’ll receive a guaranteed interview for the Junior Analyst Apprenticeship with Kingfisher, based in Southampton. The training provided through Firebrand will be a Skills Bootcamp in Cyber Technician to best prepare you for the opportunity.

This is how it works:

  • Complete your 12-week online training program with Firebrand, which is fully funded by the UK Government and Skills for Life initiative;
  • Receive industry-recognised certifications and six months of employment support from Firebrand;
  • Upon completion, you will receive an interview opportunity with Kingfisher.

Skills Bootcamps in partnership with Kingfisher will run from August 2023, with employment opportunities starting in December. Should candidates be successful, the placement is based in Southampton.
