What is Six Sigma Green Belt™?

Developed by Motorola U.S. in the 1980s, Six Sigma is a business management strategy that seeks to improve quality by identifying and removing the causes of defects and streamlining processes.

The Six Sigma organisational structure is comprised of Belts™ from Yellow (generalists) to Black (project leaders).

The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt™ certification helps you develop the skills you need to apply the Lean Six Sigma toolkit to real-life problems in your business setting. This methodology is suitable for Team Managers, Project Managers, Programme Managers, Improvement Managers, Change Managers, as well as Managers in Finance, IT, and HR.

Green Belt™ vs Black Belt™—How do they differ?

Six Sigma Green Belts™ are trained and certified at an advanced level and can tackle change within their business environment. In contrast, Black Belts™ deliver major performance or efficiency transformation in a business; typically, they are Change Leaders

Who is this course for?

This course is for everyone whose job involves business process improvement; you do not have to have previous experience in this field or Project Management.

To make the most out of this course, we recommend that those without experience or prior knowledge of Lean Six Sigma complete the Yellow Belt™ course before moving to the Green Belt™.
