The ISC2 Information Systems Security Architecture Professional® (ISSAP®) certification is ideal for professionals who want to build on their expertise in information systems security architecture. It shows you have the advanced knowledge and skills to develop, design and analyse security solutions and provide risk-based guidance to meet organisational goals. ISSAPs facilitate the alignment of security solutions within organisational contexts (e.g., vision, mission, strategy, policies, requirements, change and external factors).

The ISSAP® exam evaluates your expertise across four key security architecture domains. These domains reflect the advanced knowledge required to design, analyse, and validate secure architectures that support complex business and technical environments. Passing the exam confirms that you possess the high level architectural skills needed to translate requirements into effective security solutions and guide organisations toward resilient, well designed systems.

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the official ISC2 Information Systems Security Architecture Professional® (ISSAP®) exam.

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the official ISC2 Information Systems Security Architecture Professional® (ISSAP®) exam, covered by the Firebrand Certification Guarantee.

To qualify for the ISC2 ISSAP®, candidates must have a minimum of seven years cumulative, full-time experience in two or more of the domains of the current ISSAP® Exam Outline.

• Domain 3: Infrastructure and System Security Architecture
• Domain 4: Identity and Access Management Architecture 

If you don’t yet have the required experience, you may become an Associate of ISC2 after successfully passing the ISSAP® exam.

The Associate of ISC2 will then have eight years to earn the experience needed for the ISSAP® certification.
