Apprenticeship reform package — What does it mean?

Last week, PM Rishi Sunak announced increased Government funding for Apprenticeships.

The Government is set to scrap co-investment payments for apprentices under the age of 22 for small and medium-sized employers; they will also increase the amount of funding that can be transferred from apprenticeship levy-payers to other businesses.

The Government believes these measures will lead to an extra 20,000 apprenticeships in the UK.

These measures will come into effect as of next week.
