Overview
On this accelerated VMware vSphere: Optimize and Scale [v7] course,
This five-day course teaches advanced skills for setting up and maintaining a highly available and scalable virtual infrastructure. Through a mix of lectures and hands-on labs, you configure and optimize the VMware vSphere® 7 features that form the foundation for a truly scalable infrastructure, and discuss when and where these features have the greatest effect.
Take this course to deepen your understanding of vSphere and learn how its advanced features and controls can benefit your organization.
In just 5 days, you’ll learn to configure and manage vSphere networking and storage for a large, sophisticated enterprise.. You’ll also learn how to:
- Use VMware vSphere® Client™ to manage certificates.
- Use Identity Federation to configure VMware vCenter Server® to use external identity sources.
- Use VMware vSphere® Trust Authority™ to secure infrastructure for encrypted virtual machines.
- Use host profiles to manage compliance of VMware ESXi™ hosts.
- Create and manage a content library for deploying virtual machines.
- Manage resource usage of virtual machines with resource pools
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators for compute, storage and network resources for ESXi hosts.
- Optimize the performance of the vSphere environment, including vCenter Server.
At the end of this course, you’ll sit the VMware exam, and achieve your VMware vSphere: Optimize and Scale [v7] certification. Through Firebrand’s Lecture | Lab | Review methodology, you’ll get certified at twice the speed of the traditional training and get access to courseware, learn from certified instructors, and train in a distraction-free environment.
