• (Required) Review and understand the blueprint Blueprint
• (Required) Select and build a design, based on the guidance in the handbook Handbook
• (Required) Submit and pass the application and design review Design Application Application Form
• (Required) Successfully defend your submitted design against three panellists (75 minutes) and design a solution to a randomly provided scenario (45 minutes)

Certification path if you hold a VCDX in a different track:

• (Required) Earn the VCP-DCV 2023 VCP-DCV 2023
• (Required) Earn the VCIX-DCV 2023 Badge (Or have a VCIXDCV 2020 or 2021 or 2022) VCIX-DCV 2023
• (Required) Review and understand the blueprint Blueprint
