Overview
Firebrand’s 4 day accelerated course will prepare you for the Citrix Certified Professional –Virtualization (CCP-V) exam. You will learn to deploy a complete Citrix hosted application and desktop virtualisation solution, compatible with Windows Server 2012 R2.
You will get hands-on experience dealing with the Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop 7.6. developing practical skills you can apply in the real world. During the course you will cover a range of exciting topics including:

This course is suitable for architects, consultants and engineers, as well as those looking to become involved in those types of roles. By the end of the course you will be ready to sit exam 1Y0-312 Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops 7 Advanced Administration exam, which qualifies you for the CCP-V certification.

Prerequisites
Before taking this course, Citrix recommends that students have:
- Passed the Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization (CCA - V) exam
- An understanding of server, desktop and application virtualization concepts
- Experience with Windows Server 2012 or Windows Server 2012 R2, specifically:
- Active Directory
- Remote Desktop Services
- Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP)
- Domain Name System (DNS)
- Performance Monitoring
- Group Policy Objects
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Completion of the following course or can demonstrate equivalent knowledge:
