On this 3-day Firebrand accelerated Open Source Intelligence Practitioner (OSINT) training course, you'll learn the practical skills necessary for intelligence gathering using publicly available information.

This OSINT Practitioner course builds on the knowledge in OSINT Foundation and covers aspects such as legend building and online personas.

The course will consist of presentation and demonstration with a high level of participation required. You'll complete practical tasks using all of the tools and methods introduced including a series of scenario based exercises.

• Agent Provocateur and stated cases
• Setting up and maintaining online false persona
• Social engineering
• Setting up and maintaining covert machines
• Consented account take over and legal requirements, tradecraft
• Virtual/Crypto Currency
• APPs; Using your tablet and smartphone covertly

Your knowledge will be tested in the form of an Assessed Interactive Exercise.

As part of our unique Lecture | Lab | Review technique, you'll be exposed to both the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills of Open Source Intelligence. This will accelerate your learning and ensure that you have the hands-on experience to apply your knowledge when you return to the office.

Day One

• Legend Building - maintenance and tradecraft

• Setting up and maintaining Online False Persona
• Social Engineering - influencing- introduction & basic knowledge

Day Two

• Setting up and maintain covert machines
• Consented Account take over - legal requirements, tradecraft
• Virtual / Crypto Currency - awareness and knowledge of different types of virtual currency and their use
• APPs - using tablet & smartphone covertly

Day Three

• Assessed Interactive Exercise - scenario based with online resources and role players

You will take an online multiple choice exam taken on the last day of the course.

You'll receive courseware that covers the topics in a digital format. Lab exercises and the exam are also included in the course.

You should have attended the Open Source Intelligence - Foundation course, or have equivalent knowledge.
