Thank you for your support! Firebrand DACH donates to Stiftung Bildung

Instead of receiving Christmas gifts at the office, this year our colleagues from Firebrand DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) decided to donate €2,500 to Stiftung Bildung, a non-governmental organization in Berlin, Germany. Thank you to everyone who has made this possible!

Stiftung Bildung (Education Foundation) helps strengthen the range of educational opportunities at day care centres and schools, especially where sponsors lack funds and resources. Our donations help make education in Germany more equal, more diverse, and more participatory, giving young people a better start in their professional lives and helping counteract the shortage of skilled workers.

“As a provider of intensive training in the areas of IT, Project-, and Process Management, we know how important it is to continue your education regularly. Learning is part of life; its foundations are laid in childhood. Everyone has a right to education and we want everyone to have the same opportunities,” said our colleague Daniel Krüger, Managing Director for the region.

Stiftung Bildung is the first nationwide fundraising organization of its kind. It campaigns for diverse and participatory education, especially for the involvement of children and young people in all issues that affect them. It strengthens the commitment to education in civil society, in particular the development of the nationwide network of day care and school development associations and the support of the active people directly on-site.

“We are committed to contemporary, equal-opportunity, and crisis-proof education,” said Katja Hintze, Stiftung Bildung Chairwoman. “The focus is always on the children themselves, their needs and ideas. Donations guarantee our independent voice and enable us to directly improve the situation of thousands of children and young people nationwide, as well as the education in kindergartens and schools.”
