Overview
Six Sigma is a business management strategy originally developed by Motorola, USA in 1986. Six Sigma seeks to improve the quality of process outputs by identifying and removing the causes of defects (errors) and minimizing variability in manufacturing and business processes.
It uses a set of quality management methods, including statistical methods, and creates a special infrastructure of people within the organization (e.g. "Black Belts" and "Green Belts") who are experts in these methods. Each Lean Six Sigma project carried out within an organisation follows a defined sequence of steps and has quantified financial targets (cost reduction or profit increase).
Train through Firebrand's accelerated methodology and you'll learn at twice the speed in a distraction-free environment.
During this 10-day accelerated combined course, you will gain a thorough and expert understanding of all aspects of the Lean Six Sigma method and learn the approach, concepts and tools required for business improvement. Both the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (intermediate) and Lean Six Sigma Black belt (advanced) are part of your Lean Six Sigma tool-kit which can be applied to real-life problems within the industry by professionals with a high-level understanding of the Lean Six Sigma method and experience working in more complex improvement projects.
This combination course has been developed for all business professionals from a wide variety of manufacturing or service / transactional environments. Ideally, you will be tasked with delivering major performance or efficiency transformation for a business, typically working as a Change Leader within the business.
