October is Cybersecurity awareness month. What does this mean?
Did you know that, as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, UK internet users increased by 300% between 2021 and 2022 alone?
According to an analysis by Kepios, in January 2022 there were 66.99 million internet users in the UK, amounting to 98% of the total population.
And, of those, 76% use online banking.
Given these statistics, there's no wonder that cyber attacks are at an all-time high, targeting individuals and businesses. Just a few days ago, even Uber was disrupted.
