Apprenticeships — A powerful solution for your business and your career

National Apprenticeship Week may have ended, but apprenticeship programmes continue every week of the year. If used correctly, they are a powerful tool for your business and your career.

If you run a business in the UK, you can access apprenticeships and funding to train your staff.

If your annual wage bill is under £3 million, you can access Government funding; if your bill exceeds it, you can benefit from the Apprenticeship Levy.

What is the Apprenticeship Levy?

The levy is a small tax charge collected automatically via PAYE. Employers have 24 months to use it to pay for eligible training.

The levy can be used to...

• Upskill current employees
• Reskill current employees for different positions within your company
• Train new employees to fill your current skills gaps
