New course! Skills Bootcamps in Software Engineering with Cisco

Love coding but not sure how to start your career?

Firebrand Skills Bootcamps are partnering with the multi-national digital communications company, Cisco to provide Skills Bootcamps focused on coding.

Cisco is known for its industry-leading technology solutions in Networking, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and collaboration tools.

Cisco is looking for individuals with some coding experience to apply for several roles within the business; these roles will begin in the summer of 2024. This opportunity is ideal for those currently studying an IT or Computer Science degree, STEM students or graduates who covered coding modules, or those with an A-Level or equivalent in a coding subject.

Those with at least one year of professional coding experience or individuals who have completed a Software Apprenticeship are also encouraged to apply.

At the end of the programme, candidates will have the opportunity to interview with Cisco.

Why should I apply through Firebrand?

By completing a Firebrand Skills Bootcamp, you’ll receive a guaranteed interview with Cisco for several technical roles within the business, based in London, Feltham and Manchester on a hybrid basis.

The training provided through Firebrand will be a Skills Bootcamp in Software Engineering (Python), which can best prepare you for the roles.

This is how it works:

• Complete your 12-week online training program with Firebrand, which is fully funded by the UK Government and Skills for Life initiative;
• Receive industry-recognised certifications and six months of employment support from Firebrand;
• Upon completion, you will have the opportunity to interview for a position with Cisco;
• Skills Bootcamps in partnership with Cisco will run from August 2023, with employment opportunities starting in the summer of 2024. Should candidates be successful, roles with Cisco are located in London, Feltham and Manchester.
