PeopleCert - Scrum Master I certification & Firebrand Training

Overview

On this accelerated PeopleCert Scrum Master I course, you will learn the fundamentals of Scrum, and be able to utilise the agile framework that helps teams work together to develop, deliver and manage complex software products.

In just 2 days, you’ll learn to help increase team productivity by encouraging team players to learn through experiences, to self-organise and to continuously improve output, you’ll also use scrum to:

Develop, deliver, and maintain complex software products
Improve research, sales, marketing, and customer support, amongst others
Respond to emerging requirements, deliver value quickly and adapt to new market conditions

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the PeopleCert Scrum Master I exam, and achieve your certification. Curriculum

Module 1: The definition and purpose of Scrum
Module 2: The three pillars of Scrum: inspection, adaptation and transparency
Module 3: The five Scrum values: commitment, focus, openness, respect and courage
Module 4: The characteristics of effective Scrum Masters, product owners, and development teams
Module 5: The purposes of different events, artefacts and rules in Scrum
Module 6: How multilevel planning can help your team develop long-term goals and create more realistic strategies to achieve them
Module 7: How to identify the attributes of the product backlog and understand how it can evolve as your product and environment changes
Module 8: The techniques for managing technical debt
Module 9: The purpose and steps involved in Scrum events such as product backlog grooming, sprint planning, execution, daily Scrum, review, and retrospective

Exam Track

At the end of this accelerated course, you’ll sit the following exam at the Firebrand Training centre, covered by your Certification Guarantee:
