Overview

This accelerated ITIL 4 Practitioner: Service Level Management certification is for IT professionals who want to prove and validate their skills in this specific practice area. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to demonstrate your understanding and application of the key concepts, principles, value and challenges of the practice at both strategic and operational levels, maximising value of the Service Level Management practice in their everyday work. 

As part of this course you will learn the key concepts of the practice. The processes of the practice. The roles and competences of the practice. How information and technology support and enable the practice. The role of partners and suppliers in the practice. How the ITIL® capability model can be used to develop the practice. The recommendations for the practice success.

In just 2 days, you’ll also learn how to:

  • Set and manage a shared view of the quality of services between the service provider and the service consumer, aimed at all key stakeholders on both sides
  • Monitor and evaluate the actual service quality and continual improvement of the services and agreements
  • Translate stakeholder expectations and needs into metrics, then organise and manage the resources appropriately
  • Manage ongoing delivery and improvement of services through a well-documented agreement such as the service level agreement (SLA) Measure, assess and develop the Service Level Management practice capability in their organisation by using the ITIL Maturity Model.

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the PeopleCert (Axelos) exam, and achieve your ITIL 4 Practitioner: Service Level Management certification.   • Module 5: Information and Technology: Explores how Information and Technology can support and enable the Service Level Management practice to deliver improvements skill-icon
  • Module 6: Partners and suppliers: Focuses on the role of partners and suppliers in the Service Level Management practice skill-icon
  • Module 7: ITIL capability model: Explores how the capability criteria support the practices' capability development skill-icon
  • Module 8: Practice success: Focuses on the recommendations for the Service Level Management practice success and how they are supported by the ITIL guiding principles

Exam Track

At the end of this accelerated course, you’ll sit the following exam at the Firebrand Training centre, covered Certification Guarantee:

  • Format: Multiple choice; Closed book
  • Number of questions: 20 questions
  • Passing score: 13 out of 20 marks required to pass (65%)
