Overview

On this accelerated APMG International Praxis Framework™ Foundation & Practitioner course is provided in conjunction with Creative Consulting and Training Ltd, an APMG accredited training organisation.

The Praxis Framework Certifications confirm you understand and can apply the framework to projects and programmes – ensuring they achieve optimal results.

This course will certify your ability to deliver projects and programmes successfully utilising a comprehensive framework.

In just 4 days, you’ll also learn how to:

Perform as a highly responsive project or programme manager – able to implement the framework at any stage of delivery.
Understand project and programme functions plus the processes and documentation used to manage lifecycle phases.
Develop and maintain an effective project or programme delivery infrastructure in a decreased timescale.
Apply and tailor Praxis to your organisation by inserting your own process model, templates and content into the framework.
Understand the similarities and differences between Praxis and other prominent guides such as: PRINCE2, MSP and the APM Body of Knowledge.

Successful candidates will be entitled to a free Professional Assessment at Business Agility Professional Level 1 – Explorer.

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the APMG exam, and achieve your Praxis Framework™ Foundation & Practitioner certification. Curriculum

Module 1: Characteristics and context of a project and a programme and the benefits of effective project and programme management.
Module 2: Purpose of the Praxis Framework, the project and programme roles, documents and functions, and their use in the Praxis process models.
Module 3: Goals and activities within the Praxis Frameworks process models and how they interface.
Module 4: Importance and goals of interpersonal skills in the project and programme environment, and their recognised models.
Module 5: The relationships between the roles, documents, functions, techniques and processes.
Module 6: How to apply the roles, functions, techniques and processes to a project and programme scenario.
Module 7: How to create and assess project and programme documents for a given scenario.

Exam Track

At the end of this accelerated course, you’ll sit the following exam at the Firebrand Training centre, covered Certification Guarantee:

Praxis Framework™ Foundation & Practitioner exam

Foundation:

Duration: 60 minutes
Format: multiple-choice questions, Closed book
Number of questions: 75
Passing score: 50% pass mark (38 marks out of 75)

Practitioner:

Duration: 2 ½ hours
Format: Complex multiple-choice questions, Open book (only the Praxis Framework can be referred to)
Number of questions: 75
Passing score: 50% pass mark (40 marks out of 80)
