What's Included

Why is Cisco at Firebrand different?

Firebrand’s accelerated CCNA course offers you access to more equipment than most of our competitors.

There are many Cisco training providers and the equipment used can vary greatly. Several use remote labs where you never see the actual equipment but do exercises based on a connection to a rack of equipment “somewhere”…

At Firebrand we see things differently. We believe that in your first exposure to Cisco you should see, feel, and touch the kit. You need to know about interfaces and ports, but not by seeing a PowerPoint slide or a diagram, rather by actually connecting cables to the router or switch.

You’ll work in pairs and share a “pod” of equipment located in a rack. You have your own 2811 router and 2960 switch, access to additional equipment such as a Frame-Relay switch, along with additional routers and switches should you wish to tinker.

The equipment we supply, alongside 24 hour lab access, gives you the tools to prepare you both for the CCNA exams, more importantly, the real world.

Included:

  • Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 1
  • Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Part 2
  • Implementing Cisco IOS Network Security

Your accelerated course includes:

  • Accommodation *
  • Meals, unlimited snacks, beverages, tea and coffee *
  • On-site exams **

Prerequisites

Students that are successful in the Cisco CCNA training course are required to meet the following prerequisites:

  • Experience of a desktop operating system
  • Knowledge of networking fundamentals

Once on the course, you must first pass and gain the CCNA Certification in order to get the CCNA Security Certification.

Unsure whether you meet the prerequisites? Don’t worry. Your training consultant will discuss your background with you to understand if this course is right for you.
