Overview

On this accelerated Check Point Certified Automation Specialist course, you’ll learn about automation and the Check Point Management API architecture, where you’ll be able to create and execute automated scripts to perform R80 Security Management tasks.

In just 2 days, you’ll learn how to demonstrate basic troubleshooting techniques by reviewing debugging messages in various forms, as well as define new objects and modify existing ones by using the Check Point API. You’ll also build knowledge in:

• Installing R80 management and a security gateway in a distributed environment
• Configuring objects, rules, and settings to define a security policy
• Demonstrating how to use a custom REST application to update the database of a Security Management Server

At the end of this course, you’ll sit the Check Point 156-520 exam, and achieve your Check Point Certified Automation Specialist certification.
