Overview
On this accelerated Fortinet Certified Expert (FCX) in Cybersecurity certification verifies your comprehensive knowledge of network security design, configuration, and troubleshooting for complex networks. To attempt the exam, you must have industry experience.
The FCX certification recognizes the successful candidate’s comprehensive and in-depth ability to design, configure, and troubleshoot network security using Fortinet products in complex networks. FCX is the top-level certification in the Fortinet certification program and is designed to reflect best practices using Fortinet solutions in the network security and cybersecurity industry.
To attempt both the written and practical exams, candidates must have related industry experience. It is recommended that candidates complete the appropriate Professional and Solution Specialist certification training and have extensive experience with Fortinet products in a production environment.
At the end of this course, you’ll sit the Fortinet exam, and achieve your Fortinet Certified Expert (FCX) in Cybersecurity certification. You must successfully pass the FCX written exam (NSE 8 - Network Security Expert 8 Written Exam) and the FCX practical exam (NSE 8 - Network Security Expert 8 Practical Exam).
NSE 8 - Network Security Expert 8 Written Exam series: NSE8_812
- Duration: 120-minute
- Format: multiple-choice
- Number of questions: 60
- Passing score: Answers must be 100% correct for credit.
The written exam contains questions about design scenarios with exhibits, configuration extracts, and troubleshooting scenarios that assess your security networking and Fortinet solution knowledge and experience. The exam assesses the networking, security, and Fortinet solution knowledge and experience of the test taker.
NSE 8 - Network Security Expert 8 Practical Exam Exam series: NSE8_870
- Duration: 120-minute
- Format: One day, two sessions (5 hours and 4 hours), proctored
- Number of questions: 30 (15 unique tasks per session)
- Passing score: Partial credits are available for selected tasks. There are no deductions for incorrect answers.
