Overview

On this accelerated 5-day VMware Certified Professional 7 – Desktop and Mobility certification course, you'll get the skills to deliver virtual desktops and applications through a single virtual desktop and infrastructure platform.

You'll develop hands-on skills in installing, configuring, and managing VMware Horizon 7. You'll dive in to how to configure and deploy pools of virtual machines, how to manage access and security of machines and how to provide a customised desktop environment to end users.

Some of the topics you'll cover include learning to:

  • Identify VMware Horizon components
  • Configure and manage pools of physical and virtual machines
  • Use Horizon Administrator to configure the VMware Horizon environment
  • Configure secure access to virtual desktops
  • Manage the performance and scalability of a VMware Horizon deployment

This course is aimed at technical personnel who work in the IT departments of end-customer companies as well as those responsible for the delivery of remote or virtual desktop services.

On this accelerated Horizon 7: Install, Configure, Manage [V7] course, you'll be prepared for and sit the 2V0-751: VMware Certified Professional 7 - Desktop and Mobility (VCP7-DTM) exam, which is covered by your Certification Guarantee. Passing this exam will provide you with the VMware Certified Professional 7 - Desktop and Mobility (VCP7-DTM) certification.

Seven reasons why you should sit your VCP7-DTM course with Firebrand Training

  1. You'll be VCP7-DTM certified in just 5 days. With us, you’ll be VCP7-DTM trained in record time
  2. Our VCP7-DTM course is all-inclusive. A one-off fee covers all course materials, exams, accommodation and meals. No hidden extras
  3. Pass VCP7-DTM first time or train again for free. This is our guarantee. We’re confident you’ll pass your course first time. But if not, come back within a year and only pay for accommodation, exams and incidental costs
  4. You’ll learn more VCP7-DTM. A day with a traditional training provider generally runs from 9am – 5pm, with a nice long break for lunch. With Firebrand Training you’ll get at least 12 hours/day quality learning time, with your instructor
  5. You’ll learn VCP7-DTM faster. Chances are, you’ll have a different learning style to those around you. We combine visual, auditory and tactile styles to deliver the material in a way that ensures you will learn faster and more easily
  6. You’ll be studying VCP7-DTM with the best. We’ve been named in Training Industry’s “Top 20 IT Training Companies of the Year” every year since 2010. As well as winning many more awards, we’ve trained and certified 76,859 professionals, and we’re partners with all of the big names in the business
  7. You'll do more than study VCP7-DTM courseware. We use practical exercises to make sure you can apply your new knowledge to the work environment. Our instructors use demonstrations and real-world experience to keep the day interesting and engaging
