What is M_o_R® Practitioner?

Management of Risk (M_o_R®) Practitioner is a globally recognised certification that attests you have the skills to apply the M_o_R® framework to your business environment. M_o_R® is aligned with ISO Risk Management. It was developed by PeopleCert, a global leader in certification and examination with over 2 million members worldwide.

This course focuses on value creation at the core of Risk Management and is especially relevant for professionals in product-focused environments and roles. 

At Firebrand, we offer the latest version of this course, M_o_R® 4, which is a substantial update to the previous version 3.

M_o_R® 3 focused on foundational Risk Management principles and processes; it treated Risk Management as a separate process and followed a traditional exam format with few instances of practical application. In contrast, M_o_R® 4 emphasizes integrating Risk Management into everyday business decisions and processes, is aligned with ISO, and contains updated training materials and exam formats with more practical examples and real-world applications.

Who should take M_o_R® Practitioner?

This course is useful for professionals whose roles entail identifying, assessing, planning, or managing risks, or reporting on Risk Management activities across their company. Portfolio, Programme, Project, Business Change, and Risk Management professionals would all benefit from this course.

There are no formal prerequisites to attend; however, to make the most of this course, we recommend that you have basic knowledge and experience of Risk Management.
